Description

VS-SR988 is a one-part heat-curing silicone rubber sealant designed for sealing, bonding and protection of mechanical, electronic and electrical equipment. It is supplied as a grey paste and provides flame retardancy, waterproof sealing performance and good adhesion to various metals.


The material can be stored at room temperature in its original sealed package and cures quickly under high-temperature conditions. With good thixotropy, the applied sealant bead can hold its shape without collapse, making it suitable for dispensing, local sealing and protective bonding applications where controlled placement is required.

Application Instructions


  • Clean the substrate surface before bonding or sealing to remove dust, oil and other contaminants.

  • Cut the nozzle to the required bead size and install the package into a dispensing gun.
