Electric power and electronics industry
In the power industry, heat shrink tubing is mainly used for the protection of electrical equipment connection lines in substations and the sealing, insulation and protection of cable joints. For example, when connecting medium and low voltage power cables from 1kV to 35kV, the use of heat shrink tubing can effectively prevent moisture from entering the joints, avoid leakage accidents, and enhance the mechanical strength of the joints. In the electronics manufacturing industry, heat shrink tubing is used to protect the pins and solder joints of electronic components on circuit boards. In the manufacturing process of electronic products, the use of heat shrink tubing to wrap component pins can prevent pin short circuits and oxidation, and improve the quality and stability of the product. For external cables of electronic equipment, such as headphone cables, data cables, etc., heat shrink tubing can be used for decoration and protection to prevent the outer skin of the cable from abrasion and breakage.
