The diagram shows the dimensional structure of TZRS-DR150(2X) heat shrink tubing before and after shrinking. D refers to the supplied inside diameter before shrinking, d refers to the recovered inside diameter after full recovery, and W refers to the recovered wall thickness. These dimensions help users select the appropriate tubing size based on the outside diameter of the cable, terminal, branch joint or connector to be protected.

How to Select the Right Size
Choose a supplied ID that is large enough to slide over the cable, terminal or joint before shrinking. After heating, the recovered ID should be smaller than or close to the outside diameter of the covered object to ensure a tight fit. Refer to the dimensions table for supplied ID, recovered ID and wall thickness.
Installation Guidelines
Apply heat evenly around the tubing until it fully conforms to the cable, terminal or joint. The recommended shrinking temperature range is 110°C to 220°C. Avoid overheating or applying direct flame unless approved by the installation procedure.
Compliance and Test Methods
RoHS compliant
Tensile strength and elongation tested according to ASTM D2671
Dielectric strength tested according to IEC 60243
Flame retardancy tested according to ASTM D2671 Procedure B
