VS-CAP-SILIC is a closed-end silicone rubber cold shrink cap supplied in a pre-expanded state on a removable plastic support tube. During installation, the cap is placed over the cable end and the support strip is removed. The silicone rubber then shrinks radially onto the cable end, forming an insulating and environmental sealing cover.
