VS-PE PE overhead line cover is made from radiation crosslinked polyolefin material and designed for insulation protection of bare overhead conductors. It provides excellent electrical insulation, tracking resistance, weather resistance, anti-aging performance and mechanical strength, making it suitable for overhead power line protection in outdoor environments.
The product can be used continuously from -50°C to +125°C and offers convenient installation without heating or flame. With a locking groove structure, the cover can be installed over bare conductors to improve insulation protection and reduce construction time. Special sizes or colors are available upon request.

Selecting the correct PE overhead line cover model is important for safe and reliable insulation protection. Before selection, measure the outside diameter of the bare conductor and choose a cover size with an inner diameter that matches the conductor size.
The inner diameter of the overhead line cover should be slightly larger than the conductor diameter to support smooth installation and future maintenance. For higher voltage applications, select the corresponding model with sealant in the locking groove.
Confirm the conductor outside diameter and select the correct VS-PE cover size.
Clean the conductor surface and remove dust, oil or other contaminants if necessary.
Open the locking groove and position the cover over the bare conductor section.
Press the cover into place along the conductor length until the locking groove is fully closed.
For models with sealant in the locking groove, make sure the groove is properly closed to support sealing performance.
