Instructions

  • Materials needed for the installation process

  • Placing the RUBNS-OLC silicone cover onto the protected object, Apply RTV glue into the concave channel of the RUBNS-OLC and secure the cover tightly

  • Utilize a cable tie to secure the RUBNS-OLC in place.

  • Apply RTV glue to join the two ends of the RUBNS-OLC and coat the surface of the connection. Take a 50~90mm section of RUBNS-OLC, roll and wrap it, and then use self-fusing tape for additional reinforcement.

Cautions

  • Prior to installation, inspect the concave channel to ensure there is no foreign matter

  • When applying the RTV glue, it is crucial to distribute it evenly to prevent any cracking

  • After securing the RUBNS-OLC in place, utilize a cable tie to fix it, thereby preventing any potential cracking

  • After finishing the above steps, make sure to position the RUBNS-OLC slot underneath the cable to prevent rainwater from entering and influence the insulation properties
