There are mainly the following steps:


The fist step is stirring: Stir components A and B thoroughly before mixing:


① If it is manual stirring: Insert a clean stirring rod into the bottom of the colloid and stir in the same direction. The reference stirring time is 10-20min. The specific stirring time can be adjusted according to the actual situation of the colloid. Stirring until there is no sedimentation at the bottom of the colloid and the texture of the colloid is uniform is the qualified standard;

② If it is mechanical stirring: Insert a clean stirrer into the bottom of the colloid and stir in the same direction. The stirrer speed/time reference is 300rpm

(disperser diameter 45mm)/5min. The specific stirring speed/time can be adjusted according to the actual situation of the colloid. Stirring until there is no sedimentation at the bottom of the colloid and the texture of the colloid is uniform is the qualified standard.

The second is mixing: Mix and stir the A and B components evenly in a weight ratio of 1:1. 

The stirring method is as follows:


① If it is manual stirring: Insert a clean stirring rod into the bottom of the colloid and stir in the same direction. The reference stirring time is 5-10min. The specific stirring time can be adjusted according to the actual situation of the colloid. Stirring until the texture of the rubber is uniform is the qualified standard;

② If it is mechanical stirring: Insert a clean stirrer into the bottom of the colloid and stir in the same direction. The stirrer speed/time reference is 300rpm (disperser diameter 45mm)/3min. The specific stirring speed/time can be adjusted according to the actual situation of the colloid. Stirring until the texture of the rubber is uniform is the qualified standard.


The third is degassing: After the A and B components are evenly mixed, it is necessary to vacuum and degas for 5 minutes. If it is a small amount of work or the bubble requirement is not high, degassing is not required.


The fourth is infusion: The rubber after stirring and degassing should be infused into the product to be encapsulated as soon as possible.


The fifth is curing: There are two curing methods:


① Room temperature curing: Curing at room temperature (25℃) for 4-5 hours;

② Accelerated curing: The potted workpiece is first placed at room temperature for 15 minutes to allow it to fully degas and initially cure, and then placed at 80℃ for 10-20 minutes to cure.


It should be noted that during use, contact with N, P, S, As, Pb and other substances that may cause platinum catalyst poisoning should be avoided throughout the process, otherwise the colloid will not be able to cure.
