The silicone cold shrink end cap is made from high-quality silicone rubber material and is pre-expanded on a support tube made of strip plastic. This type of cap is easy to install in the field without the need for heating; simply slip the cap over the end of the cable and remove the support strip. The inherent excellent elastic memory function of the silicone rubber allows the cap to form a stable and lasting insulating seal at the end of the cable after it has shrunk into place. This characteristic makes the cold-shrink cap particularly suitable for use in the storage and on-site construction areas of low and high-voltage cables, enabling rapid insulation sealing and meeting the needs for cable insulation, on-site construction, and moisture and water resistance in storage.
After installation, it can form good moisture resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, ozone resistance and UV light
Good weather resistance, ozone ageing, ultraviolet and salt mist corrosion resistance, performs stably under long-period exposure to the sun
Easy to install, no special tools, no fire or heating required
